The restaurant in 20 years

Everyone has definitely been to a restaurant to eat, right? Family gatherings, birthday parties – many lively events are held in restaurants.

But nowadays, there are always some inconveniences when going to a restaurant. You have to wait for the waiter to bring over the menu and spend a long time choosing the dishes; once the food is ready, you have to wait again for the waiter to serve it. Sometimes the waiters are too busy, and no one responds even after you call for a long time, which can be quite annoying.
I think restaurants will definitely not be like this in 20 years. By then, robots will be helping out. You won’t need to wait for the waiter to order food; you can just point at the screen – you’ll be able to see what the dishes look like, and you can choose whether you want them spicy or how spicy you prefer them, as well as whether you want them softer or crunchier in texture. It will be so convenient.
When the food is ready, a cute robot will bring it over. It’s very steady when carrying the dishes, and the food will still be hot by the time it arrives at your table. As it approaches the door of your private room, it’ll even say “Here it comes” softly. After you open the door, it will place the dishes in the right spots without making any mistakes.
If the food happens to cool down, don’t worry – just press a small button by the door, and the heating robot will come. Put the dish in the little compartment in front of it, and it’ll be heated up in no time, with the perfect temperature – neither too hot nor too cold.
There will also be a small medicine cabinet next to each private room with common medicines inside. If someone gets a headache from eating something spicy or accidentally consumes something that causes an allergy, they can quickly get the medicine without having to rush to a pharmacy.
The restaurant will also have an area for exercise, with slides, a jump rope, and equipment for adults to use. After dinner, kids can run and play there, and adults can get some activity in without having to sit still right after eating.
Restaurants in 20 years will really be so convenient! I really want to grow up quickly so I can take my mom, dad, grandparents to such a restaurant to eat – it would be absolutely amazing!
