I have three little cats at home, and each one has its own little quirks. It’s really lively every day just being around them. If you ask me how it feels to have three little cats, I can only say that the happiness is equal to the amount of trouble they cause, but I still love them very much.

Let me start with the eldest one. It’s a blue cat, and it’s a male. I named it Egg Egg. Its fur is a mix of blue and black, and when the lights are off at night, you can barely see it if you don’t look carefully. Egg Egg is really lazy; it loves to hide under the bed to sleep for hours. No matter how much I call it, it’ll just lift its eyelids, maybe stretch lazily, and then go back to sleeping. It’s just like a little slacker.
The second one is a beautiful tortoiseshell female cat with a pink nose and a round head; she’s extremely cute. Her fur has a unique pattern: the upper part is black, but it turns white near her nose. The more I look at her, the more she reminds me of the Black Cat Detective from the cartoons I used to watch as a child. Every time I say that, my mom laughs and says I have a good eye for details. She’s not as lazy as Egg Egg, but she’s also not particularly active; she often lies on the sofa in the sun and occasionally uses her little head to rub against my hand in a very gentle way.
The third cat isn’t the biological brother of the first two; she was given to us by my mom’s colleague. I named her Mango, though sometimes we call her Little Stinky Lin. She’s a golden tabby cat with a really interesting habit—she likes to use her paws to grab her food when eating cat food. If some of the kibble is too far from the bowl, she’ll stretch out her little paw and pull it over to her, then lower her head to eat slowly. That look always makes us laugh. Moreover, Mango is the most active of the three; unlike Egg Egg and the second cat who like to sleep, she runs over to rub against my legs as soon as she sees me and even pushes the toy ball towards my feet, inviting me to play with her.
These three cats have one thing in common: they usually ignore the regular cat food, but as soon as they see cat treats or canned food, they immediately gather around, bouncing around in excitement, eager to eat them. Their greedy expressions are really amusing.
Each of these three little cats has their own way of being cute, and although they sometimes make a bit of a mess at home, having them with me makes every day very happy.
