My gel pen

Every time I do my homework or take notes, I can’t do without my “little helper” – a gel pen. It’s so easy to use that I’ve really considered it a good friend.

The body of this gel pen is semi-transparent, allowing me to see how much ink is left inside, so I know when it’s time to replace the refill. It’s not too long; about 15 centimeters in length and 1.5 centimeters wide, which makes it perfect for holding in my hand. There’s a small hook on the pen cap, so when I’m not using it, I can hang it on my textbook or notebook. That way, it doesn’t get lost easily and is convenient to grab whenever I need it.
Not only does it have a sleek design, but it also has many other advantages. With other pens, if I accidentally touched the freshly written words, they would smudge on the paper, and I might get scolded by the teacher for not submitting my homework properly the next day. But with this pen, the words dry quickly, and even if I bump into them by accident, they don’t get smudged. My homework always looks neat, and the teacher often praises me for writing neatly.
The refill capacity of this pen is also larger than that of the other pens I used before. With other pens, I had to replace the refill every 5 or 6 days, but with this one, it can last for more than a week. I don’t have to constantly worry about changing the refill, which allows me to focus more on my homework. Additionally, it feels very stable in my hand; unlike some other pens that tend to slip out while I’m writing, this pen never slips away no matter how I hold it, which is really convenient.
What I like most is that the writing experience with this pen is smooth, and the words it produces look much better than before. Whenever I take an exam or do my homework, I prefer to use it. The teacher often compliments me on the neatness of my work. It’s also very helpful when I’m taking notes in class; I can write quickly and smoothly without worrying about the pen ruining my ability to capture the important points. Every time, I manage to keep up with the teacher’s pace and record everything that needs to be noted.
This gel pen may be ordinary, but it has really helped me a lot. With it, doing my homework is much more convenient, and my handwriting has become neater. The teacher’s praise gives me even more motivation. I really cherish this pen and will take good care of it for a long time to come.
