Every day when I go to school, I wear my pink phone watch. It’s like my little friend, always by my side, and it’s so thoughtful of it to accompany me.
This watch is really small—only about half the size of the palm of my hand, approximately 5 centimeters long and 4 centimeters wide. The screen is surrounded by a transparent silicone frame with a strawberry bear pattern on it, which looks so cute and pretty. It’s not as heavy as Mom’s phone, and it doesn’t have the gaming capabilities that Dad’s watch has. Wearing it on my wrist is convenient and doesn’t get in the way at all.
Its functions aren’t numerous, but each one is very practical. In the morning, I don’t need Mom to wake me up; I just set an alarm on the watch. As soon as the alarm goes off, I know it’s time to get up. Sometimes I can even stay in bed for a few more minutes. If it starts raining after school, I use the watch to call my parents and ask them to wait for me at the school gate. If they get off work late and I have to walk home by myself, if I encounter any problems on the way, I can contact them with just a few button presses on the watch. Once, I got lost in the neighborhood, but I described the surroundings to Mom through the watch, and she quickly found me.
When I’m bored, I can also use the watch to chat with my friends and arrange to go out together on the weekend. The watch even has a fun feature similar to the “friend circle” on adult phones. My friends can post photos they took and share their daily lives on it. If I like something, I can give them a “like”, which is really interesting.
With this phone watch, my parents are relieved, and I find it extremely convenient too. Whether I’m going to school or just out and about, having it with me makes me feel much more at ease. I really love my phone watch.
