In the forest, there lived a little tiger who was extremely gentle. All the small animals loved to play with him. Whether it was a little deer that accidentally bumped into him or a mischievous little squirrel that hit him lightly, the little tiger never got angry.

One day, the little tiger was carrying a cake to celebrate his best friend’s birthday. Halfway there, the little squirrel jumped onto his back and knocked the cake to the ground. The little squirrel even shouted at the little tiger, “You big fool!” But the little tiger wasn’t angry; he put the squirrel down and ran back home by himself. The other small animals that saw this said to the squirrel, “You can’t do that next time.”
Another day, the little tiger stumbled while going out and was knocked down by a little rabbit. He felt a bit annoyed and grabbed the little rabbit, raising his other hand as if he was about to hit it. But then he thought, “I am a gentle little tiger after all.” So, he let go of the little rabbit and said to it, “Don’t do that again next time.”
The next day, while out for a walk, the little tiger was struck by a slap from a little sheep. He was taken aback and asked the sheep, “Why did you hit me?” The sheep replied, “Everyone says you’re easy to bully.” The little tiger pressed the sheep to the ground, but then the sheep quickly said, “I’m sorry, I’m really sorry.” After thinking for a moment, the little tiger let the sheep go.
When the little tiger returned home, his friends gathered around him and said, “You don’t even eat the small animals that bully you; it’s a shame for all of us tigers!” The little tiger lowered his head and said, “It’s not that way; they’re just using my kindness as an excuse to bully me.”
