The school in 20 years

In the morning, I walked to my alma mater 20 years from now, carrying my backpack. Two robot teachers were at the school gate, greeting me with smiles! The once withered grass and leaves in the school have now turned green, and several osmanthus trees have been planted nearby. “Ding ling ling—” The bell rang, indicating it was time for a break! The children rushed out of their classrooms, just like birds that had been trapped for a long time, eager to fly freely. I followed them to the playground and saw that the concrete ground from before had been replaced with a surface covered with artificial grass, and only in the areas where the children ran were small flowers blooming.

Then, a little rabbit appeared before my eyes; it dashed towards me but just ran right by me. However, soon that scene disappeared, and it turned into people running. I thought it was all fake at first, but actually, it was just some of my classmates exercising—it was real!
After sitting for a while, I went to my old classroom and noticed that none of the students had backpacks anymore; instead, they each carried a small chip. By inserting the chip into a slot, you could request any book you needed. For example, if you wanted a Chinese textbook for the fifth grade, you would simply say, “I want a Chinese textbook for the fifth grade, volume one,” and the book would appear immediately.
In the past, teachers had to collect all the homework and review each one individually. But now it’s different! The robots collect the homework in less than a second, and by the time the teacher arrives, all the homework is already gathered. The teacher just needs to carefully grade it.
The school 20 years from now has transformed from its simple appearance of before into something so much better. I really love my new school!
