The Campus Twenty Years Later

The Campus Twenty Years Later

I was holding a yellowed group photo in my hand, standing in front of the basketball court, completely stunned—this place wasn’t at all the same as the one I had in my mind!
The Campus Twenty Years Later
The green rubber floor in the photo had been replaced with a soft, lush green lawn. A few younger students were playing and frolicking on the grass, their voices filled with laughter and joy. Compared to the deserted and quiet basketball court of the past, the changes were truly incredible! The old basket frames had also been replaced with new ones, and now there were many more activities available beyond just running, basketball, football, and baseball; there were so many new ways to have fun.
Above the school, there’s a place called the “Aerial Runway.” From there, you can see the entire campus, and you can even earn credits. You can exchange credits for various items: 2000 credits for a robot, 1000 credits for a gravity suit, and 500 credits for an intelligent frisbee. It’s also very safe to use the Aerial Runway; you just need to wear a transfer bracelet to get to the entrance. However, it’s not that simple—there’s an answering machine every 10 steps, with levels ranging from D to SSS. You get at least 5 credits for each correct answer, and the higher the level, the more credits you earn. At the SSS level, you can get 30 credits for one right answer!
In addition to the Aerial Runway, there’s also the “Sky Pillar.” The Sky Pillar doesn’t have a fixed height; if you want to climb above the 150th step, you need to spend 20 credits on a parachute and a mask. For every step you climb up the Sky Pillar, you get 2 credits, but for every 50 steps, the pressure increases by 5 points. So, the Sky Pillar is more suitable for students with strong physical strength, while the Aerial Runway is better for those who like to use their brains.
The playground after 20 years is so much fun that I think we’ll never have enough time for physical education classes!
