The bookstore twenty years from now

Twenty years have passed, and I still really enjoy reading the “Sanchome no Maruko” manga books. One day, as I opened the doors of the bookstore, I was stunned—it looked completely different from how I remembered it in my childhood; my eyes were filled with disbelief.

As soon as I walked in, a robot appeared beside me and said to me, “Welcome to our Xinhua Bookstore. You can go to the hall to read or buy books.”
I walked for a while until I reached the hall. There was a blue screen there, and when I clicked on it, a pair of headphones appeared in my hands. The screen also started speaking, “After putting on the headphones, you can choose to type in the name of the book or just say the title.” After that, the electronic sound in my ears disappeared.
I said the name of the book: “‘The Diary of Smiling Cat’ Chapter 1.” As soon as I finished speaking, the book appeared in my hands. I opened the first page and saw a “Read” button; out of curiosity, I pressed it, and immediately, a little girl’s voice came from my ears. While reading, I noticed that she read exactly what was written in the book without missing a single word, which surprised me greatly.
After finishing the book, I discovered that there was also a food store inside the bookstore, so I ran over to it. Ah! The store had cakes as big as castles; I was amazed and bought one right away, thinking, “I’ll eat while reading in the bookstore!” Then I ran back to the bookstore and said to the robot, “Please find the book I was reading last time.” As soon as I finished speaking, the book appeared in my hands. This time, while listening to the story, I saw the little girl from the video making gestures as she read, and I was so engrossed that I didn’t even take many bites of the cake I bought.
I think the bookstore twenty years later is incredibly interesting; I really want to come here every day!
