At the zoo, I’ve seen many animals, but my favorite is still the elephant. From a distance, its body looks like a small hill, gray and quiet. When you get closer, you can see that its skin is wrinkled, just like the bark of an old tree. Its ears are huge, like two fans; they flap gently, and it’s so adorable! The most amazing part is its nose—round and long, and it can bend all around. If you don’t look carefully, you might think it’s a moving rope! Its four legs stand firmly, like four strong pillars.
The elephant is not only unique in appearance but also very interesting when it eats. As soon as it sees an apple, it uses its nose to gently pick it up and slowly bring it to its mouth. With a “chomp, chomp,” it eats the apple completely, leaving no crumbs behind. After eating, it even wipes its mouth with its tongue, which is absolutely adorable.
Don’t you think the elephant is a big, lovely, and “funny king”? I really want to become good friends with it!
