The Animal Hospital Twenty Years Later

The Animal Hospital Twenty Years Later

In the blink of an eye, twenty years have passed. Twenty years later, I have achieved success in my career and have a lovely little black dog. But now, that little black dog is sick; it keeps coughing, and its nose often bleeds. So these past few days, I’ve been planning to take it to the animal hospital for a check-up.

As soon as I entered the animal hospital, I couldn’t help but exclaim “Wow!” because it was so technologically advanced. As soon as we walked in, a robot came towards us and asked what we needed. I looked at it and explained why we were there, and it nodded, then told me to press a button next to it. I pressed the button, and the robot emitted a bright light. After a while, the light disappeared, and it turned into a doctor. I was very surprised, but it seemed to sense my confusion and began to explain. It turned out that the button was a transformation button; when you pressed it, the robot would turn into a doctor. The doctor then examined the little dog. First, it played some music to help the dog relax. The dog was a bit scared at first, but soon calmed down. The doctor put on something that looked like glasses for the dog, and after a while, the doctor tapped the dog’s belly, causing the dog to show signs of fear and pain. Seeing this, the doctor stopped pressing the button and said to me, “It seems the dog has swallowed a small nail.” I was very panicked and immediately asked the doctor what to do; would surgery be necessary? The doctor smiled and told me no, that we could use X-rays for treatment, which wouldn’t cause any pain or leave scars.
I nodded, and the doctor promptly took the dog into the treatment room. Several beams of light swept over the dog’s body, and then, on a plate nearby, a rusty iron nail really did appear. I was shocked. Right after the treatment, the doctor found some pills from various bottles and jars, and the dog ate them all without any hesitation—even though it usually hates taking medicine, today it swallowed them just as easily as if they were candies.
After a while, the dog’s treatment was completed. When we went home, I saw a lively and energetic little dog again.
