There are four people in my family, and each of them has their own unique characteristics, just like different cartoon characters. Life together is always full of excitement and joy every day.
Mom is our family’s “alarm clock.” Every afternoon when I come home from school, she always reminds me on time: “It’s five o’clock; it’s time to practice the piano.” If I take too long to finish my homework, she will frown at me. But sometimes Mom is also very gentle; when I’m feeling sad, she will hold me gently and say, “It’s okay, just be more careful next time.”
My brother is a real “sweet tooth.” He loves to sneak snacks without anyone knowing. I remember one night when he quietly opened the fridge to get some chocolate, looking around to make sure no one had noticed him. Then, he accidentally stepped on his toy car and ran back to his room in a panic, hiding the chocolate behind his back. He looked so adorable!
Dad is like a “big bear” – he’s extremely strong. On rainy days when he picks us up from school, he always holds most of the umbrella over me and my brother, even though his own shoulders get wet. The last time my brother fell while running, Dad immediately pulled out a band-aid from his pocket and, like by magic, took out a piece of candy, saying to my brother’s knee, “The pain will go away quickly!” My brother smiled right away.
This is my family: Mom, who is as punctual as an alarm clock; my brother, who loves food but is also so adorable; and Dad, who is as reliable as a big bear. Although there’s no magic in our home, every day is filled with happiness and warmth.
