The comic “Teacher”

The comic “Teacher”

In our class, there’s a teacher who is expert in both the “shooting master” skills and the “great sword” techniques. He is our math teacher, Mr. Wu. Every time he has class, he brings out his “great sword”—the ruler.
The comic “Teacher”
He is very strict and demanding, but sometimes he shows a gentle side, which makes us all call him the “Master of Changing Faces.” If he smiles in class, we know trouble is coming—it’s like the onset of “death.” The person who gets his attention really has a hard time; no matter where they try to hide, they can’t escape Mr. Wu’s sharp eye. Especially his big eyes and those arms with prominent veins make him look very imposing.
His ears are extremely sensitive, and he has strong legs with visible blue-purple veins on them. No matter what we’re doing, whether playing or daydreaming, we’ll soon feel the consequences of his “punishment.” His hair can be either sparse or neatly groomed, and when he wears those glasses, he really looks like someone who’s there to discipline us.
Do you still remember the “shooting master” and the “great sword” I mentioned earlier? Now let me talk about the “shooting master” aspect. Some might ask, “If he’s a shooting master, then he must have bullets, right? What are those bullets?” Of course, they’re chalk! Today it’s math class, and just thinking of Mr. Wu’s chalk and ruler makes me nervous. I used to avoid him at all costs or try to walk around him. Today, I’m wondering which lucky student will be “hit” by his attention.
When the class starts, Mr. Wu bursts into the room, furious, carrying a book and the textbook, and throws them on the desk with a thud. That sound makes us all freeze in place. He quickly fixes his gaze on a student; if that student is still playing around, he can’t help but confront them, grabs their clothes, pulls them to the front of the class, and throws their belongings into the trash can. Since we wasted time, the class ends soon after. Mr. Wu then takes the student to his office to have a serious talk with them.
This is our math teacher, Mr. Wu—sometimes fierce, but he also knows how to be gentle.
