Everyone has something they love very much, whether it’s a cool toy or a lovely plant. And the thing I love the most is a little dog named “Fluffy Ball.” It’s not only my pet but also the warmest companion of my childhood.
Fluffy Ball is incredibly cute. Its round, big eyes shine like black grapes, and they’re always blinking at me. Its whole body is covered with soft white fur, and from a distance, it looks like a furry little ball, which is why I named it Fluffy Ball. When it walks, it bounces along as if it’s dancing, which is really endearing.
Fluffy Ball is also a bit of a glutton. As soon as I take out some snacks, it runs over immediately, wagging its tail and looking at me with eager eyes, as if to say, “I want some too!” Once, I opened a pack of little biscuits. Just as I was about to eat, Fluffy Ball came running over. I wanted to tease it, so I pretended to go out to see if it would follow. Sure enough, as soon as I stepped outside, it ran right after me. I tried to shake off its attention, but I tripped over a branch on the ground and fell, crying out in pain. Fluffy Ball saw me fall and actually turned around and ran back. I felt a bit sad, thinking, “Why doesn’t it want to be with me?” But soon, my mom came rushing over; it turns out Fluffy Ball had run to call her for help. At that moment, I felt so warm inside, realizing that Fluffy Ball is truly my good friend.
Since then, I’ve loved Fluffy Ball even more. When it’s hungry, I share some snacks with it; when it’s thirsty, I give it fresh water; and when it’s tired, I lie down on the sofa with it to rest. We played together, went for walks together, and spent many happy moments.
A few years later, Fluffy Ball left me forever. Although it’s no longer here, its adorable appearance will always remain in my memory. Fluffy Ball was not just my pet; it was the closest friend of my life, the softest part of my heart.
