My “Comic” Teacher

In my extracurricular class, there was a teacher known as a “sharpshooter” — Teacher Gui.
My “Comic” Teacher
At first glance, you’d think he’s the type who makes people laugh, and indeed that’s exactly the case! He’s an English teacher, and his shirts are often printed with lots of English letters, which I can’t understand a single one of. Most of his pants are black, and even his microphone is black. His appearance is even more amusing: he wears a pair of black-rimmed glasses, and his hair is the most interesting part; it’s completely bald, resembling a “Mediterranean-style” baldness. Some students couldn’t help but laugh when they saw his bare head, which shone like a light bulb; someone even said, “Teacher Gui is really like a walking light bulb!”
Teacher Gui also has a way of speaking that’s very entertaining; he always finds ways to help us remember English words. For example, if you didn’t know how to pronounce “Sunday,” he would say, “After Sunday comes Monday, and on Monday we have to go to school or work, so Sunday is called ‘丧day’ (a play on words meaning both ‘sad day’ and ‘day of work’).” We all clapped in agreement, and from then on, I never forgot that word again.
One Sunday morning, Shi You and I went to the English class together. The teacher hadn’t arrived yet, and the classroom was noisy; someone was even deliberately letting out the air outside the door. Suddenly, the student who was letting out the air shouted, “I see the teacher! Go back quickly!” Before long, Teacher Gui did arrive. It turned out that the student had seen a bright spot in the distance, and it was indeed Teacher Gui’s head—his baldness was just too noticeable!
When class time started, Teacher Gui put on his microphone and began teaching. At that moment, a student accidentally glanced at his “light bulb” head and couldn’t contain his laughter; he started discussing it with a classmate next to him. When Teacher Gui noticed this, he used his “sharpshooter” skills and threw a piece of eraser, which perfectly landed on the student’s desk without missing a single target!
Since then, no student dared to be distracted in his class again, for fear that a “wildly thrown” eraser might come flying from any direction!
That’s my English teacher, Teacher Gui. He has such an incredible skill as being a “sharpshooter,” and I really like him as well as his teaching methods.
